Cost of Treatment
Let's be honest, treatment is expensive. Addiction, however, is more expensive. Untreated, alcohol and/or drug addiction costs money, costs jobs, costs marriages, costs families, costs security...the list is endless. Research has shown that for every $1 spent on treatment will save $4 or more on lost wages, medical costs and legal costs. Despite the clear benefit of treatment, many insurance companies provide lousy coverage for mental health and substance abuse issues.
You also "get what you pay for." There are a number of cheap government-supported treatment programs. Invariably, there are long waiting lists and the treatment quality is unpredictable. Some programs provide great care while others utilize video tapes as their major source of treatment.
Stepworks does one thing and one thing only: Provide excellent, life-changing, care for people sufferring from alcohol and/or drug abuse.
