Admission Requirements
Admission to the Stepwork's program is a two-step process. First, an assessment needs to be completed by one our admission counselors. This may be on-site or over the telephone. During the assessment we confirm the diagnosis of alcohol and/or chemical dependency and determine the most appropriate level of care. Second, a financial assessment is performed to include confirmation of insurance coverage, estimation of benefit payments, and agreement on a fee schedule.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Medicare or Medicaid insurance plans.
Requirements for admission are rather simple:
- You meet the criteria as chemically dependent
- You have a willingness to be totally abstinent from alcohol and drugs
- You are physicially able to attend groups for 6 hours daily
- You have no uncontrolled medical or psychiatric problems that are unrelated to your alcohol or drug use
- If you have current pending legal charges, your attorney and/or the court system is aware of your admission
- You have completed a telephonic or on-site assessment
- You have executed a pay agreement
